Internship projects

These are a few of the projects that I developed at the end of my master’s degree, during my curricular internship at a non-profit organization, where I tried to analyze the contributions and limitations of the designer in contexts of civic awareness and mobilization today.

The first two challenges correspond to the creation of images that would later become Instagram’s posts. The first one is a photo that translates the positioning of the organization, incorporating (manually drew) text related to the institution’s notions of Inspire, Dream and Serve, inspiring the viewer to act. The image was published on World Kindness Day, November 13, 2021, with the intention of encouraging good deeds in the community.

The second one, in turn, corresponds to the creation of an Instagram’s publication in a carousel format, that would simplify the organization’s Development System (which turned into “Transformation System” and that was, at this point, exclusively on their website), thus transporting it to social networks, through an illustrated image, to better translate the organization’s new positioning. At this point, we realized that there was a need to better incorporate the colors of their secondary palette, given the neutrality of tones of the main palette which was very unappealing.

The last project that I developed was made for the organization’s internal website, destinated to the students and members. It would function as an area of tools to help them cause more social impact, while collaborating with references in the social area. To this end, this database would include the community’s dreams, and every user would be able to identify and hopefully materialize those dreams. With this project, graphic needs arise at the level of illustration, in order to characterize, on the one hand, the organization’s target audiences, on the other hand, to represent the areas of the social problems in which it gets involved (while also creating a character that represents each of these social problems) and, also, an image (in four different colors for different areas) to represent any other social organizations that don’t have a logo. It was also important that there was a focus on the newly added color to the palette.
